Maltese dog ( (Definite introduction)
The Maltese dog originated in 500 BC. Is a toy dog covered in white silky long hair from scratch. The ancestors of this small dog lived in the ports and maritime urban centers in the Central Mediterranean region, where they hunted rats that were rarely found in port warehouses and ship cabins. This dog has been known since ancient Rome; Strabin, a Latin poet from the first century AD, praised it as "the favorite companion of middle-class dogs".
The masterpieces of Maltese dog paintings created by many painters during the Renaissance show this small dog standing beside the beautiful ladies of the period and appearing in the living rooms of the time. It looks quite noble and elegant.
Many noble ladies are very fond of this kind of dog, thinking that it can set off their elegance.
