How to train a Husky to go to the toilet
First step
Owners must grasp the timing of their dog's defecation. If the dog's diet is relatively orderly, it will often defecate within 30 minutes after eating. When a husky moves around in circles or has its nose close to the ground and sniffs hard, this is a sign that it wants to poop.
Step Two
Prepare a suitable dog toilet, such as a pet pee pad or a pet toilet, and place it in the area where you want your dog to use the toilet. In the early stages of training, you can use a paper changing pad to soak in some dog urine and lay it on the base of the dog toilet, so that the dog thinks this is the place where it defecated last time.
Step Three
When the dog relieves itself in a designated place, or at a precise location, the owner should praise it in a friendly tone, or give it delicious snacks. It will soon understand that this is the right thing to do, and its behavior of defecating in the toilet will be praised by its owner.
Step 4
When your dog defecates in the wrong place, if you find it immediately, give it a severe punishment to make it understand that it is wrong to do so. After repeated training, the dog will gradually develop the habit of defecating at fixed points.
