1. Height and body shape
Eskimo dogs: divided into three types, small 23-31 cm, medium 31-38 cm, and huge 38-48 cm.
Samoyed: Adult male dogs are 53-60 cm; adult female dogs are 48-53 cm.
2. Muzzle
Huskies: broad and flat, not longer than bone length, slightly shorter.
Samoyed: There is a certain thickness, the length and width are average, and the corners of the mouth are raised, as if in a smile.
3. Coat
Eskimo: The inner coat is short and delicate. The outer coat is straight without curls, the long hair on the neck creates a pronounced ring-like scarf, and the hair on the tail is long and loose.
Samoyed: The base coat is short and soft like wool, and the surface coat is thicker and longer. Grows straight to the body, but not curved.
4. Eyes
The eyes of pure Samoyeds are almond-shaped, and Huskies are generally rounder than almonds.
5. Ears
Samoyed’s ears are more exquisite, and Huskies are larger than Samoyed’s.
6. Nose
The Samoyed’s nose is smaller than that of the Huskies.
