Taiwanese small-headed snake
The Taiwanese small-headed snake is a non-venomous snake, so people who like them can keep it with ease. This kind of snake can be divided into at least three types according to its body color. There is a very obvious red line on the back of the Taiwan small-headed snake, and there are regular patterns on the head, which are easy to identify.
The body length of the Taiwanese small-headed snake is about 95CM, the head is small and oval, the snout end of the Taiwanese small-headed snake is shorter, the snout scales are large and spread out, and some of the snout scales can be seen from the top of the head. There is a brick-red vertical stripe in the center of the body that extends from the neck to the tail. There are often a series of equally spaced black-brown wave patterns on both sides of the body, and the belly is brown-white. There is an obvious dark brown inverted V-shaped mark on the back of the head, and occasionally there is another less obvious inverted V-shaped mark on the front. The number of dorsal scale rows is 19. The teeth behind the upper jaw are specialized into a large, narrow shape.
