Growth method: oviparous. Basically, female turtles can produce 2-3 litters per year, with 2-4 eggs in each litter, which take about 60-70 days to hatch. It is not difficult to distinguish between males and females. The male turtle has a thicker tail, the anus is longer than the carapace, and the pattern on the head is more distinctive.
Habits: The customs of the three-sided turtle are similar to those of the Wushan turtle. Both are water turtles, but the three-sided turtle is more terrestrial.
Physical characteristics: The back of the three-sided turtle There are three light-colored ridges on the turtle, which are very obvious from juvenile to adult turtles and will not disappear. The head and red-bellied side-necked turtles usually have V-shaped patterns that extend from the tip of the nose to the neck. The patterns are often yellow to orange and will not disappear when the turtle becomes an adult. Female turtles have shorter tails and duller head patterns. The remaining V-shaped notches at the end of the plastron have smaller angles in male turtles and larger angles in female turtles.

Care: When raising, you can use the method of raising box turtles. Using sterile soil mixed with reptile sand can maintain humidity, and the swamp area can account for 1/3 of the breeding tank.
