Flat-coated retrievers ( Determine the introduction)
The flat-coated retriever has a plump body and is completely visibly clean. The ideal height at the withers ranges from 23 to 24.5 inches for males and 22 to 23.5 inches for females. As a retriever that handles difficult situations, they appear to be very capable. The dog's head is long and clean, and its face is full of warning, intelligence and kindness. The eyes are of average size, almond-shaped, dark brown or hazel, and relatively open.
The ears are relatively small and well set, the nose is large, and the nostrils are well spread. The color is determined by the dog's coat. Black dogs are black, liver dogs are brown. The lips are rather tight, firm, clean and dry.
The neck is thick and slightly arched, the coat on the neck is not trimmed, the topline is thick and level, the waist is thick, the muscles are well developed and stretchable, and the hips are moderately wide and well muscled. The tail is straight, moderately set, and when unclogged, it is held cheerfully but not bent.
The forelimbs are straight and rich, with light but good quality bones. The claws are oval or round, the toes are arched and tight, and the pads are rich. The hindquarters are powerful and angled to the same level as the forequarters. The dog's coat is of moderate length and thickness, which can protect it in all circumstances, and the feathering should not be too long.
The color of the flat-coated retriever is pure black or pure liver. When walking, the gait is steady, smooth and elegant. Having a good physique and good temperament is a hard-working dog breed.
